We also have regional offices in Kampala (Uganda) and Asunción (Paraguay). Our services and projects are environmentally and technically advanced, climate-smart and economically successful. Kenya

The agricultural sector is the backbone of Kenya’s economy and the basis of livelihoods for most Kenyans.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the Kenyan Government to spur climate-smart agricultural development, identifying and supporting respective investments and to develop national climate performance and benefit measurement systems.

Germany

Securing timber provision, optimization of wood logistics and an improved production chain in the small enterprise private forest are the topics of this regional survey „Wood competence”. Competiveness of enterprises in the cluster forest and wood will be analyzed in the region “Heidenheim, Ostalbkreis and Schwäbisch-Hall” and improved by tailor made measures

India

Rehabilitation of Mangrove forests to secure long term income of the local rural population, wildlife habitat improvement and additional carbon sequestration. These are objectives of a project financed by the Danone Livelihood Funds in West Bengali (India).

Paraguay

An increased percentage of wooden biomass forms part of a global strategy for improved renewable energy sources for heat and power generation. By introducing 1.200 ha of trees in a pastoral system in this project in Paraguay, wooden biomass will be produced additionally to cattle.

Cameroun

German support to Cameroun’s green sector focuses on the country‘s „Programme Sectoriel Forêts et Environnement“ (PSFE). Since September 2011 UNIQUE provides advisory services to the national authorities for the implementation of the programme. Areas covered include forest policy, improved financial services, communal forestry, and REDD implementation.“
